If you are a golfer or in the golf business, the annual PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando Florida is a must attend! The timing is perfect since it is always the later part of January when everyone who doesn't live in Florida wants to be there. It is the most incredible venue. There are approximately 1000 vendors in a space over 1 million square feet!! Over 40,000 participants from all 50 states and 84 countries attended.
Demo Day
The show always starts out at "Demo Day" which is held at the Orange County National Golf Center. All of the new golf equipment is on display and ready to be used. The newest clubs, balls, range finders, etc. are there for you to try. This is usually a long day and the circle of booths is approximately 1.5 miles so the samples of Swing oil came in handy since it contains an energy booster!!

I was impressed by the new club designs and the Epic Driver by Callaway was certainly getting a lot of attention. Also on display was the GT Airinject green aeration machine. It is so cool, It creeps along and inserts steel poles into the green that injects air and fertilizer into the green leaving very tiny holes. The green is ready for play almost as soon as the machine finishes. No top dressing or shutting the course down while the green repairs itself after the normal aerification.

We had a great time at this years PGA Show! We visited with old friends and made new ones. I had meetings with Revolution Golf, David Leadbetter Golf, Frogger Golf, Birdie Box and Spikes Golf Supplies. I plan to meet with these businesses again in the very near future to develop business partnerships.
Looking forward to seeing everyone again next year!
