Nick and I arrived at the first destination, 80 miles from the starting point. The ride was hot and windy but we arrives mid afternoon. After locating our luggage, which is a real challenge ,especially after peddling 80 miles. All of the luggage is taken from the truck and left in a heap for the owners to retrieve. Luggage must be found first because you must then find a suitable site and pitch he tent. We found the luggage, pitched the tent and barely got settled when Gary arrives, just 45 minutes after Nick and I!! He must have peddled his but off to catch us, probably afraid we'd drink all the beer. After a few beers, our leader Nick started planning tomorrows ride.
